Sizing and washing instructions:

• Designed to be true to size with a contoured fit. For broader shouldered horses, cob types or horses in between sizes we recommend sizing up for little extra room through the chest. 
• Machine wash at 30 degrees, use a mild non-biological detergent, close all fastenings, do not use fabric softener (can damage waterproofing), air dry naturally, reproof periodically using a specialist rug reproofing product to maintain waterproof performance.

Crafted from 1680D ballistic nylon, the outer layer offers outstanding durability while remaining waterproof, windproof, and breathable for daily turnout in unpredictable conditions.

Inside, a luxurious, super soft faux fur lining provides added warmth and helps prevent rubs on the mane and pressure points, making it ideal for sensitive horses and extended wear. Although finished with a lightweight 50g fill, the faux fur lining delivers warmth beyond that of a standard 50g turnout, without adding bulk.

A V-front closure with dual length chest buckles allows for precise adjustment and an improved fit across different builds. Designed to open naturally at the chest, the closure supports unrestricted movement and comfortable grazing. Shaped with a contoured, shoulder relief fit with integrated shoulder gusset, the rug sits correctly without pulling or restriction as your horse moves. 

Practical finishing details complete the design. A PVC coated elastic filet string maintains a secure yet comfortable fit, while subtle reflective strips improve visibility in low light conditions. Fully liner compatible, and featuring a detachable neck, the Uhlan turnout rug adapts effortlessly as temperatures change, a versatile, dependable essential for the winter season.
