Electrolytes are a collection of common minerals, including sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium, which work together to support efficiency in the body.

Replenishing and maintaining the balance of essential electrolytes benefits horses by:

• Helping ensure your horse remains sufficiently hydrated
• Preserving a healthy balance of fluids in the body’s cells and also maintaining a healthy acid-base (pH). In-balances can have a significant impact on overall health
• Helps efficiently process waste and maintains muscle function; without a healthy, replenished balance of electrolytes, muscles are more likely to suffer from cramps
• A lack of electrolytes is linked to poor performance, low mood and a dull coat.

Not only lost from sweat, electrolytes are also lost through urine and faeces. Omega Equine’s electrolyte product is gentle on the stomach and, unlike other products, has a unique formula that won’t put horses off their feed. Ponies in hard work: 1 scoop (30g) per day
Horses in light/medium work: 1 scoop (30g) per day

Add to feed, ensure clean fresh water is available at all times.
1.5kg will last a 500kg horse in light/medium work 50 days.
